I'm Gurinder, I #capture memories, emotions, expression of life, phenomena of light and dark, well, I could go on and on but it will never be enough to give it all away in words, so in simple words, I click pictures.

More so, that indescribable feeling is what I always look forward to creating in my work, similarly, when you look at something and are taken away by its beauty and mystery in awe.

I have been shooting #portraits since I was 13 years old, I started from a 3.2 MP Samsung phone and have a full-on studio setup now. It was never about the gear back then nor it is now, It was about the way I saw things in my mind and how well I translated that vision.

​

I also realized there is no point when you can say you got it all as a skill or craft, that just never comes, there are layers upon layers, phases after phases that you go through, even if you are called a master, you still learn and improve and fail and repeat again.

​

About three years ago, I lost a hard drive, it failed and everything on it got corrupted, there were pictures of about 17 years of the timeline, I felt like all those years have been lost, I could remember somethings but eventually, they got blurred in my memories. I figured that the #pictures do the remembering for us and only then we are able to appreciate and cherish those #moments, those people and places.

​

I just want to inspire #love, light, and wisdom in everyone, I can touch through my work.
